// about_me

I started out at a product engineering shop in Coimbatore back in 2017, shipping backends for whatever landed on the desk — an online exam platform for a US university one quarter, a farm management SaaS the next, a food delivery gateway after that. Bouncing between domains taught me that systems fail in very different ways depending on what they move.

In 2023 I joined Magenta Mobility and got my first taste of talking to real hardware — thousands of EV chargers spread across cities, all chattering over OCPP. When something breaks in production it isn't a bug, it's a truck sitting cold at a charging bay. That's when I got hooked on real-time, distributed systems for a living.

Since then it's mostly been EV and energy infrastructure. Nearly two years at JioBP designing the operator control plane for one of India's largest charging networks — remote actions, Auto-Charging, OCPP over WebSockets. Now freelancing with a Swedish team on grid stabilization: same shape of problem, new domain.

India's largest EV network → real-time charger orchestration

Jio-bp Pulse is one of India's largest EV fast-charging networks — 7,000+ charge points across 10+ cities with DC fast chargers up to 480kW.

I designed and built the backend that lets operators remotely trigger charger actions and manage station configurations across the entire network. I shipped the end-to-end Auto-Charging feature that automates the driver charging workflow and optimized the OCPP service with Redis caching + Pub/Sub for real-time coordination across service instances. I also owned UAT/QA/Production infra and CI/CD, supporting automated zero-downtime releases.

Grid stabilization for distributed energy sites (Sweden)

Contributing to Truxel Reflex, a Python-based energy grid stabilization platform for a Swedish client — real-time monitoring and control of distributed energy sites.

I'm redesigning the platform's service topology from a per-site model (3 dedicated services per site) to a shared multi-tenant model (3 shared services across all sites) — cutting duplication, simplifying deployment and lowering operational overhead as new sites onboard. Magenta Mobility operates a 100% electric last-mile delivery fleet across India — 30,000+ deliveries per day, 30M+ km covered with zero emissions.

I built scalable Golang + MongoDB backend services for their EV fleet and charging management platform. I designed an OCPP log management system that tracks high-volume, real-time transactions between charge points and the central management system. I also shipped the Charge Grid Dashboard in React.js, giving fleet operators reports and interactive visualizations for daily operations.

High-throughput gateway for CMS content orchestration

Swiggy is India's largest food delivery platform, serving millions of orders daily.

I built a Golang-based gateway service that handled CMS request/response processing at scale and implemented low-latency gRPC service-to-service communication for internal microservices. I set up Prometheus + Grafana monitoring on Docker-based deployments for full production observability.

Online examinations for university-scale STEM courses

A Learning Management System delivered to Ohio State University's STEM programs (stemfluency.org).

I developed the online examination features — timed quizzes, tests and grading — using React.js on the frontend, Golang APIs and MySQL for persistence. When high concurrent load during exam windows exposed slow database queries, I investigated and optimized them so responsiveness held up under peak traffic.

PoultryPro+ is a SaaS for poultry farmers — batch tracking, feed mill management, inventory alerts, financials and vaccination reminders.

I contributed to the system architecture and core business logic, built backend APIs in Golang with MySQL and shipped the React.js frontend. Delivered KPI reporting, breed-standard comparisons and end-to-end financial workflows for farm operators.
